Performers with Lehigh Valley ties nominated for Emmy awards

Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome, who make up the comedy singing duo Garfunkel and Oates, have been nominated for their first Emmy. Micucci, a Nazareth native, and Lindhome have been nominated for best original and lyrics for their song “Frozen Lullaby” from their hour-long "Garfunkel and Oates: Trying to be Special" which was released on Vimeo, a video-sharing website in May.  Read more...

Garfunkel and Oates Have Never Had a Bad Rimming Experience

Garfunkel and Oates, aka Riki Lindholme and Kate Micucci, are back in Seattle. The songwriting comedy duo perform two shows tonight at the Neptune. Both performances are being filmed for their upcoming comedy special. Garfunkel and Oates' new album—Secretions—debuted at the top of the iTunes comedy charts last week. Garfunkel and Oates ran for one season on IFC, and Lindholme co-created and stars in Another Period on Comedy Central, which has been renewed for a second season on Comedy Central.
